Ninja Blender Lawsuit
Ninja (SharkNinja Operating, LLC) is widely believed to be one of the most elite and quality appliance manufacturers. A Ninja blender can cost over $200.00, depending on the model you choose. Ninja blenders are advertised to be “powerful, reliable, and best-selling”. The blades inside of the Ninja Blender are incredibly sharp and have what is known as a “stacked blade assembly”. Blender blades should be securely locked in place to prevent injury. Due to a defect in the locking mechanism, people have been seriously injured, and lawsuits are now being pursued.
Neumann Law Group Is Currently Investigating These Claims For Those Who Have Suffered Injuries Caused by Defective Ninja Blenders
When the locking mechanism in a Ninja blender fails, the blades will easily fall out. Whether you are pouring from the Ninja blender or simply putting it back together, if they fall on you, the blades can cause devastating wounds needing medical attention. A lawsuit in New York has been filed on behalf of a woman who suffered severe lacerations from the blades falling out of the Ninja blender. Now, several others have come forward on social media claiming that they have had similar experiences while using their Ninja blender. A video posted on TikTok showed a young man in agonizing pain in the hospital due to the laceration he received. This video prompted the viral discussion regarding the dangers of Ninja blenders. Some patients required numerous stitches, while others had to undergo surgical repair. The risk of permanent damage and permanent scarring is severe. There are now dozens of videos on TikTok, and even an entire account dedicated to these lawsuits. People are sharing their stories and showing their injuries, creating no doubt that the Ninja blenders are dangerous and defective.
Ninja Blenders Have a Past
The manufacturer has known of the dangers of Ninja blenders for years. In November 2015, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), put out a statement concerning recalls of over 1 million Ninja blenders—due to the exact same failures in the locking mechanism. At that time, there were already 53 reports of injured customers. Ultimately, even after being warned of the risks associated with these blenders, Ninja did not remedy its dangerous defect, but continued to sell the defective Ninja blenders to customers.
