Ruth M. Schaub, PP, PLS, AIC, of Suttons Bay, is a senior litigation paralegal at Neumann Law Group. Ms. Schaub is a certified litigation paralegal with over 36 years’ experience in personal injury, divorce, civil rights, criminal, and employment litigation.

She attended the Northwestern Michigan College paralegal program and has anAssociates in Claims from the Insurance Institute of America, as well as professional paralegal, professional legal secretary and litigation specialty certifications from NALS, the National Association for Legal Professionals. She has served on the NALS Education Committee and is Past-Chair of the NALS Certification Committee, drafting and overseeing national certification exams for paralegals, legal secretaries, and entry level legal support staff.

As a motivational and educational speaker for legal professionals, she has spoken throughout Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Oklahoma. She is Past-President of NALS of Michigan and served as the NALS of Michigan Scholarship Endowment Fund Chairperson. She was a NALS Award of Excellence Finalist and twice named Grand Traverse Area Legal Professional of the Year. She resides in Suttons Bay, Michigan, with her husband of 46 years, John M. Schaub and has three grown children and six grandchildren.
